Our History
Physicians' Laboratories of America, LLC was proudly founded in 2012 by a group of healthcare providers with a vision of providing quality drug testing services to other providers and patients from their own communities. We are a CLIA-certified laboratory specialized in testing for drugs of abuse and prescription medications, and we understand the complexities of prescription drug monitoring. Our passion and core purpose is to lower the risk of prescription drug abuse across the state of Arkansas through accurate and reliable testing, education, and community involvement. We are located inside the Arkansas Medical Society building, in a state-of-the-art facility. We are a Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) Provider and accept all private and government insurance types.
Our Team
PLA's team consists of highly trained medical personnel who are dedicated to taking the best possible care to our clients. Our staff has a combined experience of over 20 years in the medical field, specializing in pain management and addiction medicine.
From phlebotomists to pathologists, we work together to ensure accurate results and prompt communication.
Our Services
Physicians’ Laboratories of America currently tests for over 40 analytes for confirmation testing. We also offer ImmunoAssay Preliminary Screening for providers who do not perform Point of Care testing in their office. We understand that not all practices nor patients require the same testing, therefore we work with clients to create individualized testing. We offer multiple options from ordering tests on a per patient basis to creating customized risk panel(s) to help meet your needs.
